Romy Frank was born in South Africa and was raised with alternative
medicine and in a holistic lifestyle. As a mother of two she continues three generations of natural and therapeutic healing
methods. Romy started her healing career as
a medical assistant in a complementary medical clinic. From there she went on to receive training and graduated as a H.H.P
(holistic health practitioner) and continued with an A.S degree at the International School of Bodywork in Pacific Beach,
California. For the past 20 years she
has developed her career in massage and bodywork using a variety of unique therapies. Romy had been teaching at the School
of Healing Arts for the 14 years and is an innovator of Hydrotherapy and Spa. After managing and selling her
own spa business she now works as a consultant for new spa owners by developing unique products and thus increasing
profit margins. Not only does she assist with construction and planning of new spas but also develops menus and recipes for
private label customers. Romy celebrates spirituality
with simple rituals of Massage and Hydrotherapy treatments using all the purest and most
natural ingredients provided by the earth. Romy has developed
her own educational booklets teaching Hydrotherapy, and another on making home/retail body products with ingredients
from your kitchen. She has also developed a chakra salt bath regime that she has created for healing and relaxation. She provides outstanding massage and thorough technique with
hydrotherapy applications and intergrates different styles of bodywork according to individual needs. |

Class 1 | Introduction to Hydrotherapy & Spa ExperienceHyrdrotherapy
teaches you how to use different applications in a non-invasive, gentle and creative way. You will learn the history of Hydrotherapy
& Spa, how to incorporate different applications in your life and in your work and how to use "dry" and "wet"
setting for Spa treatments. You will also experience and perform "hands on" training using all natural and botanical
ingredients, which help with common ailments and help to relax, uplift and heal your body, mind and spirit.

types of minerals, salts, muds, clays, herbs, and all that the earth provides. Spa is the main topic. You will experience
and perform different scrubs and wraps using everything you learned in Hydrotherapy 1. You will gain knowledge of all product
used as well as where to find wholesale and retail suppliers.

Hot Stone TherapyHot Stone
Therapy is the use of smooth warm riverbed stones, combined with a variety of harmonious massage techniques that you will
learn. The heat enhances the benefits of massage by warming muscles and joints, while relaxing the physical body to its deepest
level.
